So in the midst of me going on a crazy shopping spree in Riley Rose, I noticed LUSH was few stores down. Of course, me being impulsive, I immediately went into LUSH. So I never bought products from LUSH because they’re on the pricey side. BUT IT’S ALL GOOD because today, my sense of judgement was nowhere to be found LOOOL. I was always interested and wanted to try out their bath bomb since LUSH is known for that. Unfortunately, my bathtub is super gross… okay it’s not overwhelmingly gross but I remember my pipes getting clogged and let’s just say I saw unpleasant things floating in there. So because of that trauma, I never take a bath in that bathtub. But anyways, I was curious about the cleansers because some of my friends used them and they had pretty positive things to say about it.
If you ever wanted to visit Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory but a beauty version, then Riley Rose is the perfect place for you. I was excited to go to Riley Rose since I saw a lot of photos of the place in Instagram and it looked super cute. The beauty shop looked really aesthetically pleasing so I knew I had to check the place out. It’s located in the Glendale Galleria up in Glendale, California. They have a really cute store front with the Riley Rose neon sign and it just lures you in.
The sun brings life to all living things. It brings energy, light, and happiness. But I’m a special case. Whenever I come in contact with the sunlight, I hiss and immediately try to find a shade. I might even be low-key vampire but judging how I don’t burst into dust in sunlight points otherwise. I’m not really fond of the sun as my skin is the type to get sunburned real easily. And also I like being pale like milk. Okay, maybe that’s too far but I’ve always been pale my whole life and I’m not even joking, some of my friends say I practically glow in the dark LOL. So sun protection is really important to me as I try to maintain my pale skin (well, my skin can’t tan easily so it’s either being pale or become sunburnt like burnt bacon). But me being a real lazy person, I didn’t start using sun cream up until age 22-23 which is pretty late. BUT it’s better late than never LOOOL. So I was in need for a new sun cream since my previous one (Innisfree Oat Mild Moisture Suncream SPF 50+ PA+++… will later do a full review on this also) was irritating my skin. I started to get little bumps whenever I had the sun cream on my face. I really wanted to like it since it made my face matte but it broke out my skin. However, the Innisfree Triple Care cream went on fine on my skin.
I first came upon this product on Jolse and I was browsing through their recommended products list when I saw this cleanser on there. I thought maybe I’ll get it next time so I saved it in my wishlist. It was patiently sitting there for about good 10 months. But the wait was finally over! I finally got this cleanser and wished I would’ve gotten it sooner.
