While shopping at Riley Rose, the COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream caught my eye and I was intrigued because I never tried an aloe suncream before. The only aloe vera product I’ve used was Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel which I absolutely love. Since I love aloe vera and how it hydrates the skin, I bought the suncream. I tried the suncream on today but holy moly, I did not like it. At. All. I know a lot of people love this product for its hydrating property and it didn’t break them out. Well then… GUESS I’M THE UNICORN. … Plz don’t come at me with pitchforks… 😦
The sun brings life to all living things. It brings energy, light, and happiness. But I’m a special case. Whenever I come in contact with the sunlight, I hiss and immediately try to find a shade. I might even be low-key vampire but judging how I don’t burst into dust in sunlight points otherwise. I’m not really fond of the sun as my skin is the type to get sunburned real easily. And also I like being pale like milk. Okay, maybe that’s too far but I’ve always been pale my whole life and I’m not even joking, some of my friends say I practically glow in the dark LOL. So sun protection is really important to me as I try to maintain my pale skin (well, my skin can’t tan easily so it’s either being pale or become sunburnt like burnt bacon). But me being a real lazy person, I didn’t start using sun cream up until age 22-23 which is pretty late. BUT it’s better late than never LOOOL. So I was in need for a new sun cream since my previous one (Innisfree Oat Mild Moisture Suncream SPF 50+ PA+++… will later do a full review on this also) was irritating my skin. I started to get little bumps whenever I had the sun cream on my face. I really wanted to like it since it made my face matte but it broke out my skin. However, the Innisfree Triple Care cream went on fine on my skin.
