Night Full of Jack O’ Lanterns: Pumpkin Nights LA

Night Full of Jack O’ Lanterns: Pumpkin Nights LA

Happy Halloween guys! Hope you guys will have a great night either trick or treating or having a lit Halloween party (insert fire emoticon here LOL). To be honest though, I’m not really a fan of Halloween. The last time I trick or treated was back when I was 6 years old. After some incident, I never went trick or treating again. Also I’m not a huge fan of chocolates and candies. I mean I do eat them occasionally but I realized I’m not into sweets. But even though I’m not into the Halloween spirit, there’s one thing I look forward to every year and that is pumpkin carving.

Girls Day Out: The Broad, The Last Bookstore, and More

Girls Day Out: The Broad, The Last Bookstore, and More

Few Saturdays ago, I had a Girls Day Out (GDO) with my church friends and we went to The Broad museum. It’s been a very long time since we all hung out together on a Saturday. We always hung out on Sundays after church but we never went to fun places such as The Broad. For me, I’ve actually been there three times now but since some of my friends never went to the place, I thought it would be great to check out The Broad.

Are Pop Up Museums Even Worth It?

Are Pop Up Museums Even Worth It?

“Why would you want to go to pop up museums when you can go hiking and appreciate Mother Nature.” My coworker’s eyes were full of silent judgement that was making a hole in my head when I told him that I was going to The Pizza Experience. It’s a pop up museum solely dedicated to pizza. I laughed and replied “Well yes hiking is fun too but it’s more fun to take photos of these rooms than nature. Also pop up museums is what makes life and Los Angeles more enjoyable.”

Vitality and Verve III: Transforming the Urban Landscape

Vitality and Verve III: Transforming the Urban Landscape

Hey guys, sorry for not posting for such a long time. Life has been a little rough for me right now but I’m back! I’ll try to post more often and I will soon be uploading a post of where this blog will go. But anyways, today’s focus is about Vitality and Verve III: Transforming the Urban Landscape.

Crazy Cat Lady Adventure: Cat Art Show

Crazy Cat Lady Adventure: Cat Art Show

I never thought I was a cat person. When I was younger, I thought cats looked creepy with their slit pupils and their creeper tendencies. I didn’t like them. At all. However, that all changed when I got my first cat. It was back in 2013 when I was working at Sweet Factory and I saw on my Instagram that an acquaintance of mine (my mom’s friend’s daughter) was looking for someone to take in her cat. Even though I didn’t like cats, her cat looked really adorable in the photo. For a few days, I was contemplating if I should get the cat or not. I’m the only child and I could get lonely sometimes. Also, I wanted my dad to have a pet to keep him company. So after a lot of thinking, I decided to take in the cat.

We Rise Art Gallery

We Rise Art Gallery

This past Memorial Day weekend, I went to two different art galleries. The first one is Beyond the Streets, which you could read more about here, and the second is the We Rise pop art gallery. Okay so I went to Beyond the Streets with my friend last Saturday while I went to We Rise by myself the next day. I honestly had no idea both art galleries were on the same street, just two or three blocks away from each other. If I had known I would’ve went to We Rise also with my friend on Saturday. But anyways, my coworker told me about We Rise and said I should go check it out. I wasn’t planning to go since I had to drive to LA again but I decided last minute on Sunday to go but I’m honestly glad that I went. Out of the two art galleries I went, I was able to connect with We Rise more.

Beyond the Streets

Beyond the Streets

Hey guys! So this post is going to be way different compared to the other posts because I’m going to start documenting my travel and adventures. Thought this would bring a fresh breath of air into my blog and also gives you a glimpse of the LA art scene. If you don’t live in LA… man, I wish you could come and experience the LA life. Yes, traffic is horrible but honestly, bad traffic is everywhere and you can’t avoid it. But let’s not focus on that LOL. One of the most awesome things about LA is their art scene. There are a lot of great art museums here such as The Broad, LACMA, MOCA, etc. Since LA is a melting pot of culture, there are so many art and design that spans through different culture.
